You've probably read me say this before, but I'm going to repeat myself because it's a reality that not everyone is aware of: Amateurs who show their tits online have been the economic engine of the Internet since day one. This is not a joke or an exaggeration. The Internet owes them a lot; they are the Internet's best-kept secret.
When Facebook was just starting out, when no one had an account there but on Myspace, a rumor spread across the Internet: Someone had found a camera and posted all the photos on it to a new social network that no one had heard of until then. Interestingly, the owner of the lost camera was a stunning blonde, and the photos on the camera, pictures of her on a beach, ended up on that new social network called Facebook. Everyone went to Facebook to see the photos of the blonde and, in the process, had to open an account there because you had to have an account on the social network to see the photos. Months later, it was discovered that the blonde woman was a model and that it was all a publicity stunt by Facebook. Today, there are a thousand stories about Facebook's popularity, but no one seems to remember that episode, which was specifically what lit the fuse. It was the first case I remember in which people were "deceived" and an attempt was made to replicate something that had been happening spontaneously on the Internet for years: an amateur and some breasts that made a website famous.
I could safely say that 90% of popular websites, the ones that are really popular, the ones that attract thousands and thousands of people, started out in one way or another with an amateur showing her breasts. In the case of Greenshines, without going any further, I'm sure you remember Erincita if you were around at that time.
This is therefore a secret that no one will tell you in one of those "talks" where they bombard you with information about how to start your Internet startup: The first thing you need to get your startup off the ground is some good photos like the ones below and a good story to tell with them; everything else always comes after that.
