I haven't felt like talking about Stranger Things, the Netflix series, here at all during this time.
There are topics that suddenly become trendy and everyone talks about them a lot. When that happens and I start reading what people are saying on the Internet, I usually feel deeply embarrassed by what I read and try not to mention any of those topics so that I am not associated with those people. For example: Adults, with the Pokemon Go craze, commenting on the internet about which Pokemon they've caught and posting screenshots on Facebook/Twitter, or with this "Stranger Things" thing, people who weren't even born in the 80s or were too young to do anything but eat baby food, talking about their nostalgia for the 80s. This posturing is something that I don't know why it's so common in Spain; I haven't seen such ridiculous cases in the rest of the world.
At times like these, I decide to pretend that none of this is happening and I don't comment on these issues online. Of course, the series isn't to blame, and I've watched it, but I avoid talking about any of it.
Be that as it may, I found this remix of the Stranger Things theme music and I think it's worth listening to; because it's one thing for me to avoid talking about the series, but it's another for you to miss out on this because of my obsession.
