All over the world, I have swum in pools of all kinds. Hotels usually build pools, within the means of each hotel, with a tendency toward spectacularity; that's what people like.
I remember liking the pool at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo, which I have now searched for but found that I don't have any photos of because I seem to recall that they didn't allow cameras inside. Even so, and despite the existence of all these pools, I have always been very interested in and attracted to pools built with few resources, anywhere, and replacing technology with inventiveness and aesthetic sense; a corner in a courtyard or, like this one, in what looks like a vegetable garden. This Instagram account posts photos of very interesting pools.
This rooftop pool in Greece is also a good example of what I was talking about. The lady swimming is Julia Alexandratou, and apparently she's well known there, which doesn't surprise me.
